Position Overview

The Logistics Officer ensures that goods move through the supply chain with speed, accuracy, and full traceability. From raw material arrivals to final product deliveries, this role plans, coordinates, and monitors all logistics operations — including vehicle scheduling, driver supervision, internal stock movement, and dispatch confirmation. Success in this role is measured by delivery accuracy, transportation cost control, and seamless cross-departmental coordination.

Department Purpose

The Logistics Department is the operational bridge between warehouse, production, and customer. It ensures that every stock movement — whether internal or external — is executed on time, on budget, and with full documentation. Logistics safeguards product integrity and delivery reputation for iCare Pack.

Core Responsibilities


Fleet & Route Management

  •   Plan daily delivery routes based on customer priority, vehicle availability, and load capacity
  •   Track fleet locations and delivery timing using mobile or GPS tools

  Assign drivers and confirm their dispatch checklist compliance

  Ensure daily vehicle logbooks are completed accurately

Dispatch Coordination

  •   Review daily orders with sales and warehouse teams
  •   Verify that outbound goods match invoices and packing lists

 Schedule dispatches to avoid delays, bottlenecks, or conflicts

  Confirm deliveries have been signed and returned with documents

Internal Logistics​

  •   Coordinate movement of raw materials between storage and production zones
  •   Monitor internal stock requests and communicate pickup priorities to warehouse team

  Ensure finished goods are moved into dispatch-ready zones

  •   Update dispatch activity in Odoo ERP
  •   Track driver performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules

  Archive delivery documents physically and electronically

  Maintain a digital log of delays, incidents, and exceptions

Communication & Reporting

  •   Send daily delivery status reports to CEO, sales, and finance
  •   Flag and investigate failed or delayed deliveries

  Communicate clearly with customers about delivery ETAs if needed

  Maintain WhatsApp or internal channels with drivers during shifts
